Dear Rider,
I can't believe that it is only a few weeks
until we stop riding for the Christmas holidays!
The Christmas Parties are on Friday 5th. Dec., 1.30-3.30 (CHILDREN) and
Sunday 7th. Dec. 6.30-8pm (ADULTS). Both parties are at the Mallard Hotel in Gullane. If you want to come you must put your
name on the list in the Clubroom. If you want to bring a friend that’s okay but do let us know so that we can tell Santa.
I
hope you are looking forward to Christmas although I know you will miss your ponies when you are off. How big do you think
their stockings will be?!!!
And what do you think Santa will put in them? Carrots, polomints and apples maybe? And do you
think they will eat turkey and mince pies? Of course not! You know they eat grass and hay but perhaps
Gill will give them a nice warm bran mash on Christmas Day. Shall we ask her to? Jenny of course will make sure that they
are cosy in their shelters. So they will have a happy time too!
Do you think the Helpers need a holiday too? They have been really busy this year raising money so
that we can make the centre even better! You have helped too by buying a brick every week. Next term, we will be doing
the same and we hope you will carry on helping us by coming to the different events or helping us run them. If we just keep
going with the fundraising who knows we might have our parties in the new extension next Christmas! Fingers crossed!!!
