Muirfield RDA is self funded. To continue to offer riding free of charge we rely on our own fund-raising
efforts and the amazing generosity of our friends and the local community.
It takes a lot of money just to keep things running, around £30,000 pounds a year!
That is why everyone involved in RDA the instructors, physiotherapists, helpers and all our junior
helpers do it on a voluntary basis.
Part of the annual cost includes all the horsey things.
Here are some of our ongoing costs.........
- £1000 a years insurance
- £1000 training costs for Instructors & Volunteers
- £300 a year heating and lighting
- £1200 annual feed and keep bill per pony (and we have 12!)
- Plus there is the actual buying of ponies as well as shoes, tack and vets bills..
This shows just how critically important it is to get behind all of Muirfields Fund-raising Events!
This year is an important year for fundraising as we try to raise the money to further develop our arena and
improve things for everyone! The BIG Project!
We are always on the look out for new and exciting idea's to raise the funds we need. If you can think
